At the top of this month, London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Kiran Kai announced the approaching relase date of his debut EP XYZ with the project's lead single "Missilence" and now he's back with the second single "Evade" with __ Daisy Maybe.
The pair last met on Kai's 2018 single "Iris", a moody and hypnotic piece that was equal parts disorienting and absorbing. "Evade" sits in a similar lane to their last outing, but the swirling production (co-produced by Prinzly and Ben Baptie), that touches on moments of jazz, hip-hop and trap, further amplifies the track's surreal and ominous edge.
"Evade" is taken from Kai's his debut EP XYZ that drops on May 22 via All Points.
