In her eight-plus years in the music game, South London singer Kelli-Leigh has become one of the most sought-after and acclaimed vocalists in dance music. Her extensive, A-list roll call of collaborators includes Low Steppa, Tiësto, Tim Mason, T.Williams, Art Bastian and countless more.

Today, however, she's the star of the show as the gives an early taste of her new single, "Cotton Clouds", which drops tomorrow (February 28). Proving she's got both the songwriting chops and the versatility to shine outside of the rave, "Cotton Clouds" is still as upbeat and cheerful as you'd hope, but the production's a little more restrained here, giving her vocals the space to shine as she sings joyously of the euphoric rush of a new relationship.

Speaking with Complex via email, Kelli-Leigh explained how she wrote the track with Kristine Bogan of French Pirates and Diplo collaborator Yoda Francesco: "The song took just four hours to write at my first session in Amsterdam with PRS and Sony ATV. Kristine and I clicked straight away as we had a similar relationship history and we were both smitten with partners. Yoda is an incredible musician and the three of us just flowed and created this melodic baby I'm in love with."
