UPDATED 2/21, 3:30 p.m. ET: The Lovers & Friends Festival has added a second date, following "overwhelming demand."

Event organizer Goldenvoice announced the concert will also go down on May 8 at the Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles. The lineup for the new date will remain the same, with a exception of a few artists: Doja Cat, Akon, Donell Jones, and Mya have been added to the May 8 event, but will not perform at the May 9 concert; while Megan Thee Stallion, Next, Monica, and Ginuwine will take the stage on May 9 only.

UPDATED 2/20, 10:45 a.m. ET: A day before tickets go on sale for Lovers & Friends, Lil Kim has reversed course. She posted the lineup on Instagram, her name sitting on line three next to T-Pain (up from line five last time), with a caption starting, “THE CHECK HAS CLEARED.”

Lil Kim went on, “Thank uncle @snoopdogg guys cause if it wasn’t for him this would not be happening but y’all know how much I love Cali and Uncle Snoop.”

The lineup for the inaugural Lovers & Friends music festival is stacked with hip-hop heavy-hitters from the past and present. But unfortunately for organizers, the event has been overshadowed by confusion and conflicting reports.

Promotional powerhouse Goldenvoice took to social media on Tuesday to reveal the festival's first-ever lineup, which included acts like Megan Thee Stallion, Ludacris, Fat Joe, Jhené Aiko, Lil Kim, Summer Walker, T-Pain, and Saweetie. However, moments after the performers were announced, several of the billed artists began denying their involvement, leading some fans to believe the event wasn't legit.

Lil Kim shared an Instagram story claiming she was not a part of the festival.

Mase also raised suspicions when he responded to Goldenvoice's post with the following comment: "Best wishes on this show but pls take my name off of this flyer."

Then there was Twista, who claimed he was never paid for the gig: "Ain't no deposit hit my account for this show."

Twista shared a subsequent comment suggesting the payment came through and that he was now set for the show.

Other billed artists have also co-signed the event on their official social media accounts. Usher and Amerie shared the lineup via Instagram, while Snoop Dogg shared an updated version of the flyer that lists him as one of the promoters. Snoop, who said that he's one of the show's promoters, also asked Lil Kim to hit him up.

When reached for comment, a rep for Goldenvoice told Complex, "Our festival is 100% confirmed. Lineups are always subject to change."

Soulection founder Joe Kay also weighed in on the confusion, reassuring his fans that he and his team would never promote a bogus event. Kay made sure to point out that Lovers & Friends was being organized by Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella, Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, and other major music events.

Lovers & Friends Festival will go down May 9 at The Grounds at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles. Presale tickets will be available at 10 a.m. PT this Thursday.
