Young Dolph shared a tribute message to Juice WRLD on Wednesday, revealing to fans that he and the Death Race for Love artist were related.

According to Dolph, who said he felt "awkward as hell" sharing this news via an Instagram update, an uncle first told him he and Juice were related during a Thanksgiving dinner in 2017.

"Honestly I didn't care about doin' any music together because we blood and music is my last concern," Dolph said. "I was on the plane comin' back home from Germany when I got this bad news and it FUKD ME UP! Watch over your moms and the rest of the family and tell God to make sure he save me a spot please."

Dolph added that Juice WRLD, who died this month at the age of 21, was "the goat" and the "youngest biggest legend of all time."

On Thursday, Juice WRLD's family shared a statement thanking fans for their support and detailing how they hope the message of his music will live on.

"Addiction knows no boundaries and its impact goes way beyond the person fighting it," mother Carmella Wallace said. "Jarad was a son, brother, grandson, friend, and so much more to so many people who wanted more than anything to see him defeat addiction."

RIP Juice WRLD.
