Offset, after learning how his Instagram account was recently hacked, has given fans an update.

Speaking in an Instagram Story update from Cardi B, who addressed the hack earlier this week, Offset the problem began with someone gaining access to his email.

"Somebody hacked one of my emails that's connected to all my shit and that's how I got hacked from the jump," Offset explained while scrolling through an email he received from Facebook's support team. "I've been having a good weekend, man. I wake up to this bullshit. I'm with my family, man. I ain't on no stupid shit. Thanksgiving just passed, a great thanksgiving with my family. I ain't on no bullshit, man. I wanna thank Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram for all sticking together and helping me."

Offset added that "I still don't have my 'gram as of right now" but he expects to regain access soon. He also thanked fans for their support. See the full update here via Cardi's IG Story.

Cardi said earlier this week she wasn't "entertaining" the discourse surrounding Offset's hack, which they say resulted in the headlines-making DM sent to Jade from his account.

Back in October, Offset announced that he'd inked a deal for a pair of video game shows with the Caffeine streaming service. "I'm going to be interacting one-on-one with my fans," he told Complex of the partnership. "Caffeine has updated a little bit of data and technology into streaming, so I'll be able to reply and it won't be a lag."
