After checking himself into rehab earlier this year, DMX has made his return to the stage in high spirits. As TMZ reports, DMX appeared at Hakkasan Las Vegas around 2 a.m. Sunday night. Sources who were at his appearance indicated DMX was accompanied by his fiancée and was eager to talk with fans.

He performed a number of his biggest tracks, including "Ruff Ryders' Anthem," "Where the Hood At?" and "X Gon' Give it to Ya." During the set, he directly addressed the audience and thanked them for their support.

"When you fall down, get back up. Everyone here has been through some shit and you never know what God is willing to do for you until you need him to do something for you," he said.

When DMX checked himself into rehab in October, a member of DMX's team said the rapper did so to put "family and sobriety first." The statement continued, "DMX has check himself into a rehab facility. He apologizes for his cancelled shows and thanks his fans for their continued support."

The move was reportedly made in order to prevent a potential relapse. DMX has notably struggled with substance abuse throughout his career, and has been in and out of rehab over the years. Following his release from prison at the top of 2019, X went on tour in support of the 20th anniversary of It's Dark and Hell is Hot.
