Dirty K, a producer based in Nanjing, China, is currently gearing up for the release of his new EP, Panorama, his second for Shanghai label Genome 66.6 Mbp. The technically-minded producer is no stranger to the label, having released his Exsciccation EP via the label in 2017 and appeared on two of the label's compilations.
This time last week, he released the video for the EP's lead single and title track and today he's unveiled the EP's lead single, "Ego Fusion" with Parisian producer and labelmate Chams. A dark and oppressive storm of abrasive futurism, "Ego Fusion" gathers and builds like an impending hurricane. Peppered with hints of grime and dubstep, "Ego Fusion" continuously threatens to explode. Just when you think it's subsided into a melodic break, it becomes clear you're only in the eye of the storm.
The Panorama EP drops on November 28.
