Lil Baby "Woah"

2019 has been a banner year for Lil Baby, and he intends on carrying the momentum into 2020.

The ATL rapper released his "Whoa" single on Thursday night, marking his first solo record since July. The Quay Global-produced track will appear on Baby's much-anticipated sophomore album, which is expected to arrive within the upcoming weeks. Baby briefly spoke about the project—the follow-up to 2018's Harder Than Ever—in a recent interview with HipHop-N-More. But he kept the details to a minimum.

"Yes, I’m working on an album coming later this year. You’re going to have to wait and see," he said, before mentioning his 2019 accomplishments. "I had a big year already, though. I won my first award for Best New Artist at the BET Awards and hit over 9 billion streams worldwide."

As for who will appear on the album? Baby is keeping that under wraps, as well.

"I want to keep that a surprise for the fans," he said. "They gonna be ready ready when they see the tracklist."

You can stream "Whoa" now on all major platforms. And be sure to keep your eyes peeled as more information about Baby's sophomore album is revealed.
