Jimmy Fallon's special University of Texas-set episode of The Tonight Show Thursday night included a pair of Gucci Mane performances, one of which saw the Woptober II artist putting his own spin on the university school spirit song "The Eyes of Texas."

During the sit-down interview portion of the appearance, taped in front of a UT Austin audience at Bass Concert Hall, Gucci was asked to share some advice for the "young minds" currently navigating the collegiate experience.

"I feel like I'm Uncle Gucci to these beautiful young students," Guwop said. "To all these beautiful students out here, I wanna just tell y'all to be mindful of the company you keep and surround yourself with positive people and keep people around you that's gonna support and encourage you."

In addition to performing a trap version of "The Eyes of Texas," Gucci Mane also ran through Woptober II cut "Move Me." Both performances included backing assistance from The Roots.
