Beats by Dre has just dropped off the details for its game-changing More Matte Solo Pro collection, the brand's first on-ear, noise-canceling headphone with brand ambassador Pharrell Williams.

The Beats Solo Pro is the latest entry in Beats' Solo range, and comes complete with a host of new innovations. The model has been redesigned for increased comfort and better sound delivery and will also no-longer feature a power button – the headphones now power off by being folded up, and unfolded again to switch back on.

The battery on the Solo Pro is also extended with over 40 hours of battery life, and the new Pure Adaptive Noise Cancelling technology uses 'advanced algorithms' to actively monitor, detect and block out ambient noise by adjusting the environment inside the Solo Pro to truly noise-cancel like no other Beats headphone before it. You can also activate Transparency mode, which allows ambient noise through while 'blending the outside world with your listening experience' to allow for some noise to filter through.

Speaking about the new More Matte Solo Pro collection, brand ambassador Pharrell Williams said, “I’ve been along for the ride since Beats started and have collaborated on several projects throughout the last ten years,” said Pharrell. “As a music producer and artist, I’m so thrilled to have contributed to the design and curated a dynamic range of colours for such an innovative and sound-focused headphone. I hope the audio experience inspires creativity and focus in you as it does for me, and I look forward to sharing our global campaign soon.”

Beats Solo Pro are set to drop October 30, priced at £269.95. It comes in new matte colours of Dark Blue, Light Blue and Red. Check out the new promotional video above and all the new colourways of the Solo Pro model below.
