2019 has been a solid year for DaBaby.

In the months since he released his his debut album Baby on Baby, the North Carolina rapper has cracked the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, has headlined a sold-out tour, and joined forces with artists like Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, J. Cole, and Gucci Mane. DaBaby continued his strong run Thursday with the release of "Intro"—his first solo record in over six months.

The deeply personal song finds DaBaby addressing the highs and lows of his life, reflecting on everything from his career milestones to the death of his loved-ones.

"And I still got a lotta shit on my mind that I can’t undecide," he raps overs the DJ Kid-produced beat. "Got me ready to slide feelin' like doe boy when his brother died."
