Sources say David Spade has a Comedy Central couch show now, with Bhad Bhabie among his recent assortment of guests.

During the appearance in question earlier this week, footage of which can be found above, the conversation eventually made its way to the topic of Nicki Minaj's supposed retirement. Asked if this marked "the end of the twerk era," whatever that means, Bhad Bhabie said "me and Cardi got y'all" before giving her assessment of the Nicki situation.

"You gotta give Nicki her props, though," she said. "Nicki was running this shit before anybody. No one told her to get salty. If she would have took Cardi under her wing and been like, 'Yeah, this my bitch' . . . She didn't have to be all, 'Ugh, I can't stand another bitch taking my spot.' Like, sit yo salty ass down and just deal with it!"

Toward the end of this discussion, Spade informed viewers that he was indeed "following pieces of this."

Nicki addressed the seemingly sudden announcement in a tweet of clarity last week, apologizing to fans. "The tweet was abrupt and insensitive," she said.

Her most recent album Queen opened at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and included the Ariana Grande collab "Bed," as well as features from The Weeknd and Lil Wayne.
