For "Ready Set," the Motor City moguls blends the song's race-inspired title with their Detroit roots. Director Jesse Ray Diamond also plays with the popularity of the Fast & Furious franchise by introducing and closing the track with a font that's similar to the one used in the movies.
During the second reprise of the chorus, two cars can be seen racing around the track. But both classic Cameros are driven by Kash Doll, showing that she's her only competition. Although she's distancing herself from the pack, this messaging isn't a shot at other female artists. Dreezy makes cameos throughout the video and Teyana Taylor provided the creative direction.
