Speaking with Rolling Stone as part of the publication's Artist You Need to Know series last November, Rosalía went deeper on the inspiration behind shouting out artists including Missy Elliott and Kate Bush during one of her Latin Grammy awards acceptance speech.
"These women paved the way for me to be here," she said at the time. "I'm going to have to keep fighting until I find the same number of women in the studio as there are men." As for her personal listening habits, she noted that she has "no prejudice" and tries to include a bit of everything.
"I listen to Vivaldi. I like Nick Cave. I love Travis Scott, James Blake, Lola Flores. Music can serve many functions," she added.
Her album El Mal Querer arrived that same year to critical acclaim, followed by collabs with James Blake and J Balvin. In July, she shared her surprise Fucking Money Man EP.
Ozuna, meanwhile, dropped off his sophomore album Aura last August. The follow-up, Nibiru, is out soon.
