Quality Control Music dropped its lengthy Control the Streets Volume 2 compilation on Friday, but the label already has more on the way. In a new interview with Hot 97's Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez, label co-founders Kevin "Coach K" Lee and Pierre "Pee" Thomas revealed who's working on new projects. They confirmed Lil Baby, Lil Yachty, and Layton Green are working on new material, while there's also a new Migos album coming soon.

They also spoke about Miami duo City Girls, and said that despite JT's current incarceration there could be a new project from them this year. "Might get a City Girls album," Pee explained at 34-minute mark when asked about who on the label has releases coming. "When JT come home she going to the halfway house, but the great thing about the halfway house is they let you go on work release, so soon as she's out she's gonna be locked in the studio working." He added, "Hopefully she'll be out next month...in a few weeks if everything go how it's supposed to go."

That roughly lines up with what he said about JT in June, hinting at the time that she could be free "within the next 90 days." That indicated she would be out before the end of September, but now it appears she's likely to be released even sooner.

As the duo continued to explode in popularity, JT turned herself in after recording her contributions to their debut album. She was originally expected to be released on March 21, 2020, serving an almost two-year sentence for felony identity theft charges.
