Pop Smoke Nicki Minaj Remix

Nicki Minaj has been teasing her remix of Pop Smoke's viral "Welcome to the Party" for a while, and now she's finally delivered. Taking the hard-hitting but ominous original, Minaj has offered her vicious take on the track. "Yo Pop, who the fuck want smoke?" she asks on her verse over the idiosyncratic production, which warps and skitters throughout.

Needless to say, Minaj is putting her money where her mouth is when it comes to her rapping skills. She's been teasing that she has been recording a follow-up to 2018's Queen, and if she's rapping anything like she is here on that record then fans certainly have a treat on the way.

Of course, she's not the only rapper to take on "Welcome to the Party." Just recently French Montana and Dave East offered up their remixes of the song, while Skepta and YG are also rumored to have remixes ready to go. Considering just how many rappers are on-board with the song, they certainly won't be the last, either.

Recently, Nicki Minaj has been made multiple with comments about her place in the industry, kicking Joe Budden off her Queen Radio show before jumping on his podcast the next day and telling Rick Ross, "Sit your fat ass down." Meanwhile, fans are also convinced that she's been taking shots at Cardi B, who she has had a complicated relationship with ever since their Migos collaboration "MotorSport" arrived in 2017.
