While we wait for Danny Brown's presumably great new album U Know What I'm Sayin? to drop, the still-influential artist and current Danny's House host is sharing his assessment of the recent reported death of Jeffrey Epstein.

The topic came up during Danny's recent appearance on Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning show.

After a discussion helmed by Ebro about how "crazy" it is that "the largest sex trafficking person in modern history" had such a fate, Danny—who noted the difficulty of making light of such a situation—told the hosts that he believes Epstein is still alive.

"You can't kill yourself in the county jail," Danny said around 15 minutes in. "They take everything from you. Cuz ain't dead . . . He on an island right now kicked up with the motherfuckin' toes out."

Later, Danny theorized that Epstein was "over there right now kickin' it with [the authorities], drinking coffee." Danny, however, is not on board the conspiracy theory that posits Epstein was murdered.

"I don't like him because I don't like sex traffickers," Danny said. "I'm not with that lifestyle."

Elsewhere, Danny spoke on his creative relationship with Q-Tip, giving him full credit for his new album's artistic success.

"This is his album," he said around three minutes into the interview. "I can't take no credit. I'm just an actor in his movie. I'm an actor in his movie at this point, which was so much less stressful for me working on albums and stuff because [there were] a lot of sleepless nights working on songs. I just had to show up and rap which made it back fun again."

See the full thing up top. U Know What I'm Sayin? is expected before year's end.
