In a statement announcing the app Monday, founder/CEO Steve Stoute connected this latest venture to the company's overall goal of ensuring independent artists have the easy-to-use tools they need to steer their own career.
"The goal of UnitedMasters is to help artists operationalize independence and own their future," Stoute said. "The app puts all of that freedom and control in the palm of their hand. Our team has worked hard to create a product that is fast and easy to use so that a new generation of artists can grow and advance their careers straight from their phone."
Straight from the iOS device of your choice, the UnitedMasters app allows users to push their music to all major streaming services (Apple Music, TIDAL, Spotify, etc.) using music and/or cover art files found in your texts, cloud, or Dropbox account.
Also within the app, creators can submit their songs for potential placement with iHeart and other major brands, with earnings tracking and prompt monthly royalty payments made through PayPal.
With the app, UnitedMasters president Lauren Wirtzer-Seawood said the brand is hoping to create the latest possible framework for a music industry that truly caters to the possibilities of the future.
"Providing artists with the ability to easily distribute their music, no matter where they are, is an important step in that direction," she said.
