The She Is Miley Cyrus era continues today with the release of the official video for She Is Coming EP opener "Mother's Daughter."
Casil McArthur, Amazon Ashley, Vendela, Aaron Philip, Paige Fralix, Angelina Duplisea, Lacey Baker, Melanie Sierra, Trydryn Scott, and Tish Cyrus all make appearances in the latest Miley visual. Catch it in full up top.
She Is Coming, also featuring "D.R.E.A.M." with Ghostface Killah and the Mike Will and Swae Lee-assisted "Party Up the Street," is the first of three planned 2019 EPs that—when combined—serve as Miley's Younger Now follow-up She Is Miley Cyrus.
Over the weekend, Miley tucked a Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X mini-performance into her headlining set at Glastonbury Festival. She also threw in some Metallica and Nine Inch Nails covers, as well as catalog mainstays like "Wrecking Ball."
In a February Vanity Fairletter looking forward to the year ahead, Miley explained what she considers to be "the key" to health and happiness.
"Thinking for myself," she said at the time. "Sometimes that gets chalked up to an 'I don't give a fuck' attitude, but that isn't my narrative. I do give a fuck. A lot of them, actually. Sometimes too many. I'm free and fluid with my speech, so by being this honest, I contradict myself sometimes, but like I said in that moment, that is my fullest truth."
