While being questioned by Swedish police over his role in the incident which resulted in an assault charge, ASAP Rocky was asked if he goes by any nicknames. “Yes. Rocky, Asap Rocky, pretty mother fu--er, I can't think of any more,” he reportedly responded, according to the case's investigative report that was obtained by The Blast.
He also said that he's "paranoid of all strangers. I'm a Celebrity. I've had unfortunate events in my past." The Blast also reports that Rocky brought up the altercation he got into while in New Zealand to authorities, to illustrate his point.
Rocky was arrested on July 2 on suspicion of assault following his performance at the Smash Fest in Stockholm, Sweden. Since then, concerning reports regarding Rocky’s experience behind bars have surfaced.
ASAP Ferg initially claimed Rocky was in solitary confinement without any visitation rights or call privileges. TMZ reported that he was sleeping on a yoga mat without a blanket next to an inmate who was dealing with mental health issues. There were also reports that the Testing rapper was being given unclean drinking water and food. Rocky’s rumored living environment in prison led to the U.S. Department of State issuing a warning stating that “all governments, including Sweden, to treat American citizens fairly and with respect.” The reports were later denied.
Despite Rocky’s current situation, Ferg reassured his fans earlier this week that his close friend was “in good spirits.”
