Today, Nigerian Afropop artist Adekunle Gold shares the bright, picturesque visuals for his new single "Kelegbe Megbe (Know Your Level)". Led by beatmaker Sess' jazzy horns and sweet drum work, the production pays homage to the traditional sounds of Nigerian Highlife — serving as a departure from Adekunle's previous work. The accompanying video is a vibrant affair, bursting with character and accentuating the best parts of the production in the process. It remains to be seen if Adenkunle Gold will stick to this sound, but if this song does anything it proves that this new direction provides a lot of room to explore artistically.
