The same night GoldLink dropped off his new Diaspora album, he celebrated the launch of a new era with a Tonight Show performance of "Zulu Screams."
For the studio-reinventing appearance, GoldLink delivered his portions of the Maleek Berry collab from atop an assortment of speakers while a choreographed dance party took over the floor. See GoldLink and Maleek's performance of the Diaspora cut up top.
The album, also featuring Pusha-T and upcoming tour partner Tyler, the Creator, is now available via a streaming service near you:
Speaking on his appreciation for Tyler's art during a Soulection interview back in February, GoldLink pointed to the continued success of each facet of the multi-hyphenate's expanding modes of creative expression.
"When I was with him, he was like, 'I never get played on the radio, I don't do this, I don't do that, I've never charted, but I can do…' His festival is incredible!" GoldLink said at the time. "Everything he does works, because he means so much more than a fucking stream or a trend. He really matters to people because what he does is great."
The two will be on the road together starting in September for Tyler's IGOR-supporting tour, which also features Jaden Smith and Blood Orange on select dates. See the full run of dates below.
