Chris Brown has taken to Instagram to unleash bitter vitriol on his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran and her new boyfriend, former NFL player Victor Cruz.
According to a screenshot captured by The Shade Room, the serial abuser published two comments on a photo of Tran and Cruz. "Nothing bad or major. UPGRADE HIM SIS. I'll take him around to style him. NOT HATE. He just need some game spirit," he wrote. "Peace love and joy. JUST PLEASE UPGRADE YA MAN BOO."
Some people didn't like Brown's approach and went in accordingly.
The singer, who has a history of violence against women, also took to his Instagram Story to ask his fans whether or not it's a "sucka move" to think about your ex.
In 2017, Karrueche obtained a restraining order against Brown because his threatening behavior made her feel unsafe. According to testimony she delivered before a judge, Brown became aggressive towards her after she tried to break up with him. She explained that after she ended things with the singer, he demanded that she return gifts he had given her, and when she refused he started threatening her.
Tran told the judge he sent her texts that read, "Bitch I will beat the shit out of you" and "I'm not being nice to you no more, if I see you out in public again and I'm there I will make you hate me even more, don't be anywhere I'm out in public, I'm going to ban you from all events."
