A man was found dead at one of the Bonnaroo Music Festival campgrounds on Saturday, according to concert organizers

The spokeswoman for PR group Kaleidoscope Media, Ann Ewing, told the Manchester Times that event medical teams were called to a campsite where they found an unresponsive 27-year-old man. The patient was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Although it is unknown what caused his death, Ewing was informed that the man had pre-existing health problems.

"Earlier today, our medical team in Plaza 11 was asked to respond to a medical situation in a nearby campsite," Ewing detailed. "The Bonnaroo Medical team and Coffee County Emergency Services were on the scene within minutes. A 27-year-old male patron camping with his father was unresponsive. The medical team administered CPR, and he was transported to the hospital."

"We understand that he had an underlying medical condition and that, unfortunately, he has died," Ewing continued. "We have no further information at this time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends."

This is the second year in a row that a fatality was reported at the festival. Last year, a man was found unresponsive in his car. The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office investigated the death and found that there was no foul play involved. In 2015, a 47-year-old man died after collapsing at Bonnaroo. Ewing didn't note these deaths in her statement, but assured festivalgoers that the "well-being of our patrons, staff, volunteers and artists is our primary concern."
