Posting on his Instagram story, Justin Bieber had some words for Eminem. Following a screenshot of Kamikaze opening track "The Ringer," Bieber wrote what he thought of the song. "I just like Em's flow but don't like that he's dissing new rappers," he explained. "I like the new generation of rap he just doesn't understand it."

Bieber has been name-dropped himself by Eminem, on his "Kick Off" freestyle in December. "Justin Bieber in a Catholic school/Selling dust and reefer when your back is to him," Em rapped.

Kamikaze originally came out August 2018, and "The Ringer" instantly became one of the most talked about tracks upon its release. Em spends the majority of the Ronny J-produced track taking aim at the current state of hip-hop, lamenting the "mumblin'" and "mumbo-jumbo" rap from the likes of Lil Pump among others. "The Ringer" wasn't the only song to spark conversation, however, with many calling out the 46-year-old rapper for his homophobic lyrics directed at Tyler, the Creator on "Fall."

Bieber recently made a surprise appearance on-stage with Ariana Grande during her Coachella set, promising fans that his new album is "coming soon."
