The video for Gunna’s song “3 Headed Snake” featuring Young Thug has dropped.
The song is from Gunna’s debut studio album Drip or Drown 2, which arrived in February. As expected, the animated video is loaded with imagery of vicious snakes and oozing slime. The song’s producer Wheezy is also included; throughout, we see all three musicians’ faces superimposed onto the body of a three-headed snake. “Me, Gunna, and Wheezy, that's a three-headed snake,” the two rappers spit.
The video is just another moment where Gunna and Thug’s aesthetics have aligned. Taking a cue from Thug, back in April, Gunna took to Instagram to show off his newly purchased $9,000 bag from the Chanel x Pharrell capsule collection. Thug owns the same bag and has a proven track record of breaking down barriers in the fashion world. “My first real Rolex in life, he gave it to me for my birthday two years ago,” Gunna told Hot 97, adding that he returned the favor with a Rolex for Thugger the following year.
When Gunna was later mocked for the purchase, telling Hot 97, “This is what I like. … It ain't for them. That ain't for y'all to like. If it were for them to like, I woulda gave them the bag.”
