Many people live by the saying "health is wealth," but when actual money is on the line this can be a tough pill to swallow. On Monday, Cardi B hosted an Instagram Live session in which she admitted to missing out on some hefty bags due to a string of canceled performances

"I hate canceling shows because I love money. I'm a money addict," Cardi explained at the video's 1:50-minute mark "And I get paid a lot of money, a lot of money for these shows. A lot of money. I'm canceling millions of dollars in shows, but health is wealth so I have to do what I have to do."

Outside of venting about the checks she's missing, Cardi continued her trend of speaking candidly with her fans by explaining what's wrong with her body. After giving birth to her daughter Kulture, Cardi decided to have breast augmentation and liposuction procedures. But instead of heeding the advice of physicians, Bardi decided to continue her hectic tour schedule. It was reported that this caused painful swelling that eventually impeded her ability to move, forcing her to postpone multiple performances. On IG, she went into detail about prompted her to get the surgeries.

"I do whatever the fuck I want to do with my body," Cardi began. "I don't have the time of day like you do. My job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no I don't have time to work out. I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out won't get fixed."

She then explained the issues she's fighting. "So you know, you still got stitches in the inside—in my breast—so they slowly got to heal," Cardi said before stating that the doctors have ordered her to take this time off to eliminate any further health or legal problems.
