Believe it or not, J Hus wasn't the only recently freed spitter to return with a splash at the end of last week. In case you missed it, grime veteran Scorcher is back, and with a vengeance on his new single "Could Be Worse".
The former Movement and Cold Blooded crew member has long had a penchant for gothic, rock-tinged instrumentals (an underrated producer himself in this regard) and on "Could Be Worse", producer Pep gifts Scorcher something to feel right at home on. The production is dark-toned but littered with vibrant kicks and claps, as Scorcher — all skippy flows and a head full of steam — rides it like the pro he is.
