Kehlani, who just recently welcomed her daughter Adeya into the world, has shared the video for her While We Wait highlight, "RPG." Joined by her collaborator on the track, 6lack, Kehlani finds herself trapped in some sort of glass box, surrounded by plants.
Produced by daedaePIVOT of Pivot Gang with co-production from letmode, the somber track makes great use of both involved. The video drives home the lyrical content of the song further, with the two separated by boxes they can only see each other through.
While We Wait was originally released back in February, with the promise of a proper follow-up to her debut album SweetSexySavage arriving sometime in the near future. She initially started work on her second studio album after she wrapped her tour in 2018, but she decided she didn't want to keep fans waiting and worked on While We Wait over the course of one month.
