Despite referring to Kenneth Petty as her "husband" during a recent Queen Radio broadcast, Nicki Minaj reportedly hasn't been formally married just yet.
That's the update from TMZ, who—though it's assuredly none of their or our business—cited sources Tuesday saying that "any reports saying they're married are false." The sources added that the two are "very much in love," just not married.
Over the weekend, Minaj shared side-by-side throwback shots of her and Petty as kids. The two are said to have previously dated, though their current rekindling didn't become public knowledge until last year.
Back in August, the Queen Radio host expressed the importance of having periods of singledom in life.
"I've always been in a relationship my whole life," she said at the time. "I was in a relationship since I was 15 years old. It's the first time I'm single and I'm happier. I'm more free. My whole adult life, I used to feel like I had to have a man and I want every woman out here to know, you absolutely don't."
Minaj is currently out on her Nicki WRLD Tour with Juice WRLD. During a show at the Manchester Arena Monday night, she took time during her set to pay respects to those who were killed during the 2017 bombing attack at the same venue. "God bless Manchester for being resilient and not bowing down to fear, for being strong no matter what," she told the crowd. "No matter what!"
