One of Toronto's most exciting new voices is keeping up his torrid pace this season with a steady drip of new visuals. Earlier today, LocoCity, unleashed a video for his freshest single and the track further solidifies his status as one to watch. Entitled, "Never Know", the uptempo banger has Loco floating over a rolling, guitar-laced instrumental courtesy of producer JTK. This latest offering follows January's "Job Done", and much to our chagrin, an excellent but since-deleted leak called "Middleman".
Much like his previous releases, "Never Know" is another showcase of the Blkz rapper's melodic prowess and gripping lyricism. Thematically, the song and its 2Tab-directed video touches upon the harsh realties of growing up in Loco's Toronto neighborhood, something he himself addressed in Mustafa the Poet's recent video essay Remember Me, Toronto — a required watch which you can check out here.
