Two of the biggest names in the UK soul circuit right now, Maverick Sabre and Jorja Smith have joined forces yet again. "Slow Down" is the name of their latest venture and on it, both musicians make full use of their complementary talents, playing off each other to wring out every last drop of pain and passion in each other's voices.
The video that comes with it tracks the pair decked-out in their finest garments, with Mav driving Smith round in his taxi cab while they trade verses between the rousing, soulful refrain. The two artists have been performing live together, and the chemistry they've built together is palpable.
