South London's Gigi Lo has been quietly doing her thing for a while now, and after having worked and performed with artists and producers such as Mom Tudie and J Hus, her latest song "Nothing On You" perfectly shows why 2019 is the year she's ready to step into the spotlight in her own right.
Speaking about the track, she told Complex: "'Nothing On You' was the first song me and N2theA made when we got in the studio. We wrote it together quite quickly. It's about wishing you still had someone you didn't fully appreciate when you had the chance—I think a lot of people have been in a similar situation or can relate in some way, either being the person that was never appreciated properly or the one trying to get someone back."
