Last year, indie-folk singer Leo Stannard earned himself comparisons to the likes of Bon Iver when he released his debut album Maratea. Which is probably at least partly why rising club producer EMBRZ was so keen to recruit him for his latest single "She Won't Let Me Down", which has now been remixed by Canadian beatsmith French Braids.

The original was a soaring piece of dance-pop built around Stannard's anthemic vocals, while the remix dials things back a bit in terms of scale and plants it firmly in the club with some popping synths and a crisp beat behind it all. "I love what French Braids did on this tune," EMBRZ told Complex over email. "He managed to turn a sad song into something upbeat and summer-y."
