Back like he never left, this week saw the long-awaited return of rapper and activist Lowkey, after publicly stepping away from music to "concentrate on my studies" more than five years ago.

"Someone naturally that talented, that brilliant an MC — I would be very surprised if he never comes back." The words of close collaborator Akala rang true and served as the intro for "The Return Of Lowkey", an epic, seven-minute exhibition taking aim at the current state of play, hinting at past attempts to blackball him and, importantly, teasing the prospect of a new album.

Rising to prominence at the top of the decade, Lowkey's political stance and urgent social message won him scores of worldwide support, and fans are no doubt ecstatic to see him return without missing a step. The most impressive #10yearchallenge of the year? Peep the visuals above.
