Future thinks the world is giving R. Kelly too much attention.

During the promotional run for his studio album, The WIZRD, Future stopped by the Power 106 studio to discuss everything from his writing skills and upcoming documentary to Lady Gaga and the significance of radio play. At around the 9-minute mark, host J Cruz asks Future if he would record with R. Kelly; it's unclear if Cruz was aware of the rapper's 2012 "Parachute" track featuring the accused sexual predator.

"Man, who is that? I thought we had forgot about that? We giving it too much attention," Future responded. "When you give things too much attention, they blow up. That's why he gon' blow up. That's why his music gonna do what it do. If you stop talking about it, it'll go away."

Future seemed to be referencing the Kelly's music streams, which reportedly surged after the premiere of Surviving R. Kelly—an explosive six-hour docuseries that detailed the singer's alleged sexual abuse.

Future was then asked if there was a "sense of fake outrage" surrounding Kelly.

"I don't know what it is, there's just too many people talking about it," Future responded. "I think behind the scenes it's supposed to be done."

The Wizrd is set to drop Jan. 18.
