A man who needs no introduction, Discarda is here to put his stamp all over 2019 with news that he has a new album on the way. That album, entitled A Lyrical Pot Of Marmite, drops later in the year and anticipation is already high. While we eagerly await that, he's just dropped off the album's lead single, "Eski Kid".
Produced by Lewi B, "Eski Kid" is filled with Eski clicks and frosty synths with almost as many references to grime's history as the video that comes with it. Archive footage of Discarda with P Money, Crazy Titch, the late Esco, Wiley, Roll Deep and plenty more names besides can all be spotted in the Saoud Khalaf-directed visuals.
Of course, we're all familiar with Discarda's reload bars and plenty of his tunes, but this is a timely and welcome reminder of just how much he's done over the years.
