Canada has gained a new R&B crooner to claim for our own in vaz., the London-to-Toronto transplant who toda releases a new music video for his track, "t-shirt." The track is a single off of his latest EP take your time. which was just released in November.
vaz. was gaining some traction with his music back in London as far back as 2013 when he dropped his EP Big Dreams Long Nights and received support from various media outlets including the BBC's radio networks. He relocated to Canada in early 2017 and now calls Brampton home. Judging from his sound, he's right at home in Toronto, a city known for its alternative R&B sound that fuses elements of trap, pop and electronic.
