There's another musical project to coincide with the film, but this time it goes for the Christmas cheer instead of big name hip-hop artists.

Last week, Sony's Miles Morales-focused Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse dropped a stacked soundtrack—featuring Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla Sign, Post Malone, Juice WRLD, Jacquees, Ski Mask the Slump God, and the late XXXTentacion—to a positive response and strong sales. Now, there's another musical project to coincide with the film that includes vocals from the cast: Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Jorma Tacoone, and Chris Pine.

In the animated  film, there's a running joke regarding a possible Christmas album from Spider-Man, and now Sony has released a full EP of Christmas-themed songs. A Very Spidey Chirstmas takes the gag from the movie and runs with it.

The film itself hinted at this project by including one of the tracks from the EP. "Spider-Bells (A Hero's Lament)" was performed by Chris Pine, who certainly gives it his all. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who both worked as writers on the film, are known for their self-referential and fourth-wall breaking humor. The two previously wrote and directed 21 Jump Street and its sequel, as well as the well-received The Lego Movie.
