Over the years, dancehall legend Spragga Benz has collaborated with the likes of Ben E King, Wyclef Jean, KRS-One, Foxy Brown, and Stephen and Damian Marley, and now he's adding Steel City DJ and producer Toddla T to that list. Their joint effort is called "Differ" and is the third single to be taken from Spragga's upcoming album, Chilliagon.
We're told the new album sees Spragga set up shop in the UK to work the very best of British talent. Akala, Harry Shotta, Illaman, Killa P, Tankia, General Levy and Rodney P all appear, the latter of which was also executive producer on the album. Besides Toddla T, production for the rest of the album comes from Zed Bias, Sukh Knight, and Hype And Fever.
Spragga explained via email: "This session was crisser! It was differ, Toddla T did differ, it easy, it was organic the energy flowed, ideas spark and relatability did jus differ!"
Toddla T added: "I have been such a fan of Spragga's work for a long time, so to collaborate with him on this project was a dream."
