Is a Drake x Blueface Collaboration on the Way?

Drizzy recently DM'd the up-and-coming rapper on Instagram, claiming Boi-1da had already cooked up a beat for them.

Up-and-coming rapper Blueface just received a major co-sign.

The Los Angeles-based MC hit up his Instagram stories Thursday to reveal Drake had started following him.

"When TF Drake start following the famous cryp" he wrote on the platform; but Drizzy's support didn't stop there. The Toronto rapper apparently DM'd Blueface to congratulate him on his buzzing tracks "Deadlocs" and "Next Big Thing."

"Trust me shits about to poppppp off once people catch up," Drake wrote, according to a screenshot posted by Blueface.

Oh, but there's more. Drake went on to say he was open to a collaboration and that producer Boi-1da had already created a beat for them. You can check out the messages, shared by No Jumper host Adam22, below.

While on the road for his Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour, Drake announced he intends to start his next album as soon as the trek concludes. The final show took place earlier this month, so it's very likely that the project is in its early stages. If Drake gets his way, there's a strong chance the forthcoming album will include a Blueface cameo.

Let's see how this all plays out.

In somewhat related-news, it was reported on Thursday that Drake has filed a lawsuit against Hebrew Hustle, a music publishing company that previously sued the rapper over an alleged uncleared sample. That case ultimately ended in Drizzy's favor; however, he is now firing back at the company for using his name and face without proper authorization.

"Additionally, the very name of Hebrew Hustle is offensive, as it perpetuates stereotypes regarding persons of Jewish heritage, such as Graham," the suit states. "[Drake] would have never licensed his name and image to Counterclaim Defendants, and is offended to have been falsely associated with them."

According to The BlastDrake's legal team has already filed their jury selection questions. Lawyers reportedly want to ask potential jurors if they've ever listened to the rapper's work, attended one of his shows, watched his music videos, or if they've simply ever heard of him. Individuals may also be asked whether or not they think Drake is a trustworthy, honest person.

Keep it locked as more details about the case become available.
