Additional details about XXXTentacion's disturbing past have to come to light.

A couple of days ago, Pitchfork published an excerpt of an audio recording in which the late rapper confessed to a series of violent crimes. Not only did he admit to stabbing eight different people in Deerfield Beach, Florida, XXX also claimed to have used physical violence to intimidate his ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala.

"What nobody’s understanding, I put my source of happiness in another person, which was a mistake initially, right?” he said in the recording. "But she fell through on every occasion … until now. Until I started fucking her up, bro. I started fucking her up because she made one mistake. And from there, the whole cycle went down. Now she’s scared. That girl is scared for her life. Which I understand."

Pitchfork has now released the full transcript of the 27-minute recording, which was captured by one of XXX's acquaintances without the rapper's knowledge. The Miami-Dade County state attorney’s office confirmed that the recording took place in fall 2016, around the time XXX was arrested on multiple charges, including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and domestic battery by strangulation.

According to the publication, prosecutors and XXX's legal team considered the tape a confession; however, the abuse case involving Ayala was eventually dropped shortly after the rapper's murder back in June.

The full transcript, edited by Pitchfork, can be read by heading over to the publication.

XXX spoke to unidentified individuals about Ayala's suspected infidelity, his suicidal urges, and the alleged traumas he endured while growing up.
