Earlier this year L.A. rapper Nipsey Hussle delivered his long-awaited debut studio album Victory Lap, and ever since he's been living the record's title. Just recently he revisited the project with the cinematic visual for "Double Up" featuring Belly and Dom Kennedy, and now he's giving another highlight the shine it deserves with a new Sergio-directed video.

The Mike & Keys-produced "Status Symbol 3," which features Compton rapper Buddy, has just received a lavish video. Starring Nipsey and Buddy as they flex across Los Angeles, the concept gets pretty meta when they meet up for a video shoot. The West Coast rappers make for a brilliant pairing, and the visual makes sure to tap into their collaborative chemistry and then some.

"The idea on this one was just to get cerebral and bring the listener in to my mindset while I’m riding through traffic by myself," Nipsey told Billboard of the new release. "I spend a lot of time in my car and come up with ideas, songs, and business concepts while I’m in that mode, so we wanted to expand on that."
