After returning to the scene last year with "Riot", grime MC Marci Phonix has another one which intends to bring the issue of race to your front door. "Black Friday" carries the same sentiment of Marci's criticism of Tory MP Kwasi Kwarteng, where he blasted the politician live on air during a Channel 4 segment on the Windrush scandal.

"Black Friday" marks the start of a provocative new series in which Marci takes aim at Britain's ugly past trespasses, which are often hidden from today's society. After being inspired by John Lennon's controversial song, "Woman Is The Nigger Of The World", Marci's aim with the track was to challenge modern-day taboos and stereotypes that still persist.

Never one to pull any punches, the visuals mirrors the lyrics of the song, with Marci giving a dark-edged and gruesome performance as the visual's protagonist. The track itself is a heavyweight grime offering, which Marci peppers with anger-laden bars and clever one-liners, coming together to make an in-your-face protest anthem. Take it in above.
