Bas and Blac Youngsta Agree Lil Wayne Has Reached Legend Status

Bas and Blac Youngsta praised Lil Wayne for his contributions to the game on the latest episode of 'Open Late.'

It took longer than expected, but Lil Wayne finally released Tha Carter V. There's a lot to discuss about the project, but according to Blac Youngsta and Bas, what's not up for debate is Weezy's status in the game. On the latest episode of Open Late, the two rappers crowned their peer a legend during a roundtable discussion with host Peter Rosenberg.

"I think he legend regardless, no matter what," Youngsta said around the 3:12 mark in the video above. "Any time you can go five years and they want it, and they come and ask for it over and over, you somebody."

Bas echoed that sentiment, and brought up Weezy's influence in the game. "He's fully a legend 'cause you always gotta look at the generation they inspired," he said. "Look at the kids now, who inspired them more than Wayne?"

"Nobody," Youngsta replied.

Bas added, "You can't deny that. That footprint ain't going nowhere."
