TMZ shared video of a search being conducted outside the city of Atlanta on Wednesday by a number of officers and drug dogs. The search allegedly revealed that there was weed and cocaine in the limousine van that Ty Dolla Sign was riding around in. The clip, which you can watch up top, starts by showing Ty Dolla and his crew posted up next to their vehicle as the authorities look around. At around the 55-second mark, the dogs can be heard loudly barking, which led to Ty getting handcuffed and taken to a nearby police cruiser.
Though the Atlanta Police Department didn't immediately state whether charges would be filed, a subsequent report from Variety said he was booked into Fulton County Jail on charges including possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, cocaine possession, and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. Ty was slated to perform Wednesday night near Atlanta with G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert, and YBN Nahmir on the Endless Summer Tour. He may have been making his way over to the Cellairis Amphitheatre, the venue for the concert, when the incident took place. He ultimately missed the show.
Complex has reached out to Ty's reps but haven't heard back.
Of course, people aren't happy about the prospect of missing out on seeing Ty live.
