We're rapidly approaching the release of T.I.'s tenth studio album The Dime Trap, which he's been teasing ever since the release of his last album, 2014's Paperwork. Before it arrives on Oct. 5, however, he's dropping off another taste of what to expect with the introspective Young Thug-assisted track "The Weekend."

We've already heard "Wraith" featuring Yo Gotti and "Jefe" featuring Meek Mill, but "The Weekend" shows a different, more nuanced side of the Atlanta legend. Alongside Thug, who delivers a predictably excellent guest appearance as always, Tip looks inward on the track while also reminding himself of how he got as far as he has.

Take a listen to the song over on Apple Music or below via Spotify.

The other day (Sept. 25), T.I. dropped a trailer for the record featuring Dave Chappelle, who he says plays "the voice in my head." As indicated by the teaser, Chappelle will appear on the album at numerous points as a narrator of some sorts, occupying a similar role to T.I. on Travis Scott's Rodeo.

The tracklist for The Dime Trap indicates some pretty huge guests are involved, with Sam Hook, Victoria Monét, Anderson .Paak, Jeezy, YFN Lucci, Teyana Taylor, London Jae, and the aforementioned Yo Gotti and Meek Mill, all expected to show up.
