Red Bull has announced the full lineup for its first ever Toronto music festival and as expected the programming combines some of the cities best known and loved acts with its more unknown rising stars, all in unusual venues. The ten-day soiree is one of two music festivals being put on by Red Bull Canada this fall, with the other due to kick off tomorrow in Montreal

You can get all the comprehensive details on the individual events at www.RedBull.ca/TOFestival but some of the notable highlights include a multisensory experience imagined by Crystal Castles founding frontwoman Alice Glass; OVO signees DVSN reinterpreting their gospel and 90's-inspired R&B hits with the help of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra; a vogue ball featuring the likes of Qween Beat founder MikeQ alongside local heroes Karim Olen Ash and Vaughan; a conversation with influential hip hop producer Scott Storch hosted by rapper Cadence Weapon; and last but not least a hip-hop night showcasing the new generation of emcees putting on for their city in the post-Drake era—Lil Berete, Yasmine, The Sorority, Ebhoni and Pilla B.

Red Bull will also be bringing its flagship Round Robin improvisation series to the city for the first time, with a crazy roster including throat singer and Polaris Prize winner Tanya Tagaq, DJ and Juno-nominated producer Skratch Bastid, multimedia artist and harpist Maylee Todd, Cindy Lee (former Women frontman Patrick Flegel), electronic violist Melody McKiver, and hip hop/house artist Matthew Progres. Whew.
