Rae Sremmurd's Home Reportedly Hit by Armed Robbers

Rae Sremmurd were reportedly robbed by four armed gunmen. The robbers, who allegedly assaulted their security guard, may have made off with the rappers' safe.

TMZ reports that Rae Sremmurd's home was robbed by four masked gunmen. The group reportedly stormed into the duo's home in San Fernando Valley around 4:30 a.m. The robbers reportedly pistol-whipped the security guard at the front door to get inside. Slim Jxmmi was at the home when the invasion went down. The robbers made off with the duo's safe and its undisclosed contents.

This isn't the only violent incident the duo have been involved in within the past few days. Last Sunday, Swae Lee was hit in the face with a thrown cell phone during a Dallas show. Lee later went to Twitter to share his anger toward the concertgoer.

"My lip is fucked up this dumb ass girl through her phone on stage like a baseball," read his tweet. "y’all gotta have more common sense than that my shit is fucked might miss a few days of tour."

They aren't the only artists to get hit by burglars either within the last month. French Montana's Calabasas' home and John Mayer's house in Beverly Hills got hit by robbers and while Khalifa's SoCal home was targeted by robbers who fled the scene before getting anything.

The summer hasn't been all bad for Rae Sremmurd, though. Swae Lee appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this summer to perform "Hopeless Romantic" with Wiz Khalifa and again for Rae Sremmurd's own song "Guatemala."
