Rising UK soul singer Mahalia has just shared her new single, "Surprise Me", and it's the lead song from a forthcoming 5-track EP entitled Seasons. Taking on the subject of the breakdown of a long-distance love, Mahalia once again finds her sweet spot in tackling the awkward (and painful) everyday hitches of modern relationships. And it makes sense that "Suprise Me" was featured on Issa Rae's hit HBO series, Insecure, recently. Arriving in just two weeks' time, a glance at the tracklist for Seasons reveals Kojey Radical as the sole guest on the project—with hopes of the pair recreating the magic of their "Water" collab earlier this year.
